There’s nothing we like more than happy clients, and we’re thrilled when they’re willing to share their CRM experiences – the wins and the challenges – with the rest of the industry.
At this year’s EDUCA– USE, Jason Jensen of World Learning will present on “Why Business Process Analysis Holds the Key to Successfully Implementing New CRM Systems.”
It’s tempting to rush into using exciting new tools available to meet business objectives when developing a new system. However, without a meaningful analysis of your business process, outcomes will likely be different than anticipated.
As Bill Gates said: “The first rule of any technology used in a business is that automation applied to an efficient operation will magnify the efficiency. The second is that automation applied to an inefficient operation will magnify the inefficiency.”
Business analysis is foundational to successful deployments, yet working with management to deconstruct and reassemble processes in order to then automate, can be a daunting task. According to Jensen, this is one of the most underserved conversations in our industry, and one that he wants to tackle to help business managers avoid common mistakes. Whatever foundation is built will surely be expanded upon, so the analysis leading to that foundation must be as well thought out as possible.
